Outsourcing Workshop Invites
9 RepliesJump to last post
Has anyone used Response Mail or a company like it to do there seminar mailings. To mail out 5000 invites its going to cost approx. $3400. I dont mind paying it but want to get a feel for how many bodies will actually show up using there seminar dinner strategy
Clients that give referrals are already taken care of. Not $3400 worth, but enough.
Has anyone used response mail(or something similar)? What was your response rate?
I have used several and they all get about 1.5 to 2 % response if you have the workshop at a place people want to go. I had 96 people out of 5000 invites last week.
Be ready to follow up fast they will get cold quick!

Is this something you do on a continuous basis? Do you find it to be successful? As long as I am covering costs and adding annuitized business I'm a happy camper.
Willie,
How many did you close out of the 96 people, and what was the avg. gross/ticket and avg dollars invested per person. Also what did you net out of it after paying your expenses. Any wholesaler help with the expenses? If so how much?
Sorry for all the questions, however I'm looking at Response mailing also.
Thanks
I've had to cruise through here for an hour but I found some comments back in August. I am ready to try this as well. I am working with someone from RME.
I am also going to consider what the gentleman said about taking people who refer out to dinner. I have a group in my office that did two seminars recently. They did a 5000 piece mailing and netted $4.5mil 60 days later from 45 attendeed. They didn't do dinner either. What was the topic? What time was the event? Without dinner, it’s kind of hard to assess why it worked.
