I like Nick Murray, read three of his books and listened to CDs.  He has his own style and unique way of teaching about prospecting and managing a practice.  He gets right to the fundamentals and doesn’t BS.  Check out his site for more info.  I think this one is worth it…

I’ve read his book Gathering Assets and thought it was AWSOME BIG TIME

I have read all 4 of his books and I also subscribe to his monthly newsletter. My opinion may not matter much because I have only been in the business 2 years, but I think his philosophies are absolutely brilliant.  I wish I could fully commit to his “Ark” theory, but I just don’t have the guts yet.

I’d say he is my biggest influence in the business.  If you don’t think you are smarter than the market (nor do you have any intentions of trying), then he’s your man.
