American Funds has come up with a summary prospectus which is like 6 pages toilet paper thin. You can do a fact sheet mailer at regular cost. I’ve been asking other mutual fund companies if they have these available to no avail.
Please let me know if you all know of any other mutual fund companies that have the summary prospectus.[quote=Kudlowfan]American Funds has come up with a summary prospectus which is like 6 pages toilet paper thin. Because I can't think of another reason why you wouldn't know about a C share trails or would care about how prospectuses get madeHaha squash. Nope not in training but haven’t done too many Ivy or BlackRock funds to start getting trails immediately. All of the C shares I’ve done don’t start paying a trail until 13 month or so. Since your so experienced maybe you can tell me who is currently putting out the summary prospectai.
I don’t about you Squash1 but I keep an excel speadsheet that I am checking daily on the summary prospectuses that are issued. I also keep track of my urination daily with a measuring cup and I am comparing that to my fluid intake.
Well I do that too(not the first but the second 2), but I find it hard to keep an excel spreadsheet on summary prospectuses, when I have to update the daily price of every mutual fund a client owns, and double check what the top 10 holdings of each fund did. plus i have to meet with at least 2 wholesalers per day.
You guys are a bit harsh. Personally, I’m excited to see such hunger for disclosure documents coming from the dark side.
