I am attempting to go it alone as an independent. For now, I have set up my office in my home. Just curious if there are others out there who have a home office set up? If so, how is it working for you and what are your suggestions for sustaining your business while working out of your home?

Enlarge the doors because you'll spend way too much time close to the refrigerator.

You have to make a schedule for yourself and stick to it and you have to have a lot of motivation each and every day.  You don't have a manager looking over your shoulders so it's a little easy to slack off sometimes.

Also, even if you're meeting clients throughout the week you need a place like Starbucks or some other place like that where you can take your notebook to get out and be around people once or twice a week.

As much as you grate on my nerves, that's a pretty good one, putsy.

I bet Put Face looks like that little guy in “300”- the deformed hunchback who betrays the Spartans… Dont you just want to kick him???

Blarm, I haven't seen the movie yet---don't give it away.

I never thought I would say at least Putsy/Devil's Advocate acted like an adult.  The new trolls are far worse than Put Trader.

Well that is absolutely something you need to remedy fairly quickly.

Stonewall...

What I would do is find an accountability partner.  Somebody who does not live in your area or state and give each other a list of goals to do every month and week.  IE  This week I plan to get 100 leads and this month I plan to open up 20 accounts and raise #.
