Annuities

I’ve been adding money to existing annuities this past week. The easiest thing to sell someone is something that he already has. No paperwork. All you have to do is send the check to the insurance company and they send the commission out upon receipt. It’s an absolute no-brainer, slam dunk. If you annuity guys aren’t doing this, you’re missing the boat.
Dang, I missed out on using that one at my last Jonesee Regional Sales meeting. You should go to Spiffs next one as a guest speaker.
Actually they send a wire out seems like every couple of months with that same idea. See, at Jones they want us to be successful and they don’t always wait around for us to figure out the obvious.

That's a good thing, I suppose. The employer realizes that the workforce needs to have the obvious pointed out on a regular basis.
Kudos to the Edward Jones management team for knowing what they've got to work with.
Spiff, don’t you love it when those sales ideas cause that printer to turn on and loads of paper and ink go in the trash can? Especially when it is in color.
They email it too me these days. No more piles of paper on the printer in the morning (at least not anything but trade confirms!!). It used to bug the crap out of me to see that two inch pile on there on Monday morning, knowing my BOA was going to trash most of it.

Spiff, quit feeding the troll. Even an EDJ’er should be able to figure that out.
