Not able to edit?

Any reason why you'd get "Access Denied" when you tried to edit a post? I had a typo I wanted to fix but it supposedly won't allow me to edit it. Interesting - that didn't used to be the case. System glitch?
It is most likely because you are a pretentious jerk. First of all, you say (I paraphrase), ‘we have got to do a better job as industry’…. ‘I should never have been considered’… Do you know anything about me at all? Absolutely not. First off, sorry I was arrested as a junior in high school and charged with the three counts. Oh my god! A person arrested in high school for alcohol should never be considered for a position where the handling of elderly peoples’ money is concerned. Never mind I graduated with a degree in economics from a university that I am willing to seriously bet is so far out of your league it isn’t even funny (The Ivy League). Not to mention I have been working in investment sales in the commercial real estate sector with an impeccable record for the last five years. Additionally, I haven’t even filled out a U4 yet, and there was no mention of that in my post, so what are you talking about?
I definitely was cranky and ranted a bit in that post, but if we actually talked we might get along better than you think. I was with Jones, but recently clawed my way to freedom.
I'll apologize for directing my frustration at you directly. If you read it, it was sort of an exasperation at the whole recruiting method of our industry, not really at you. The bummer of forums is that the words can't carry the inflection or subtext. You were the object of the rant but not of my ire, and that really wasn't fair on my part.
If you search the posts in the history, though, you get a lot of, "I killed a guy, but he wasn't really very nice anyway. Will SO-AND-SO still hire me?"
So let me take my public flogging here and accept that, on this occasion, I was indeed a pretentious jerk.
All I know from the hiring and background process is that most firms have to be extremely careful who they accept, because the regulators will require them to justify and who are deemed questionable. I do hope your firm is more human to you than I was. Good luck.
I am in biz development for Next Financial Group. We have over 848 reps. PM me if interested, and I can tell you
