Super Bowl

Last week I initially thought Colts to cover the spread easily, but most of the money is going on the Colts and media opinion is leaning heavily in that direction. I may take Saints on the money line. Contrarian is usually the way to go. Thoughts ?
Never has a thread gone off the road quicker than this one. WTF! Its the Super Bowl I am talking about !!
I haven't decided who I like yet..... That being said, I think the contrarian angle works great during the regular season and isn't as reliable in the playoffs/Super Bowl......Last week I initially thought Colts to cover the spread easily, but most of the money is going on the Colts and media opinion is leaning heavily in that direction. College hockey is your best bet where you live.I’m not a hockey fan, but I want to get into it now that I live up north.

Anyone remember last years line ? I know the Cards covered and the total went over. Was it around 7?
Last week I initially thought Colts to cover the spread easily, but most of the money is going on the Colts and media opinion is leaning heavily in that direction. I take the Saints. No way the Colts cover. Last I heard it was still 5 1/2 after the Freeney injury. Suckers bet.

And I am a hockey fan. DRW, baby!
Do you guys still throw those stupid octopi on the ice? When I was really into hockey it was when there was an awesome rivalry between the Blues and the Wings. Of course that was back when the Blues could actually win more than one game in a row. I couldn't even tell you the names of the guys on the team these days. Ron - I'd take the Colts. Their uniforms are prettier than the Saints. We have now exhausted my knowledge of football.

I take the Saints. No way the Colts cover. Last I heard it was still 5 1/2 after the Freeney injury.
Spiff! A blues fan, I'm impressed. I was in St.Louis for training and it was Brett Hull retirement night and a bunch of us went out to the local watering hole. Must have been 10 TV's in the place, all of them except a 20" screen dedicated to football. The one guy watching the greatest player in blues history have his jersey raised to the rafters was this old, obese guy wearing a blues jersey that couldn't reach all the way around his belly. he was yelling and screaming at this little 20" screen seeing his favourite player immortalized in St.Louis hockey history. I guess the owners knew their clientele.Yeah, not so much.
They do at Canadian junior games, no light beer though!
Do they sell alcohol at college hockey games?

Or the one timer in the crease that made the goalie look like a minor leaguer. Amazing. I started watching hockey seriously in the early 90's. Hull and Shanahan (when he was with the right team) on the wings, curtis Joseph in the net, Pronger and McInnis (what a slapshot he had) on defense. There were a lot of no names back then too, but we had some great ones. I haven't payed much attention to them in the last 4-5 years. Haven't been to a game in at least 2-3. Like you said before, not much there to get excited about.
Hull was awesome. That slapshot from the blue line was a sight to behold. During the "Hull & Oates" days. Man, Greg Millen, Gino and Paul Cavallini, Steve Tuttle, Hull, Oates, Shanahan, Joseph. What a time to be a hockey fan. Nowadays, not so much.We might have actually gone to some of the same games. I dated a girl whose dad had season tickets. We must have gone to a dozen games that year. The best one was game 4 of the playoffs against the Blackhawks. Round 1 I believe. We went into at least double overtime and swept them. We were in the very top row of the old Barn. That was a great place to watch hockey.
