In the process of trying to short sale a house but it is looking like we might have to just walk away with no market in sales right now.  My question is is a short sale or foreclosure reported on a U-4?  And if so how long does it hang around on the U-4?  Thanks!

Here's a decent link on whats reportable.

My advice is to contact your firm's legal/compliance department. They deal with the U4/U5 forms all the time and can probably tell you for sure if its reportable or not - if they don't know they can always ask FINRA.
