I heard a rumor last week from a NY city based MERrill broker about flyers being mailed out to MER, MWD, WB, and several other wirehouses' brokers in the states of NY and NJ from some lawfirm in Reno, NV soliciting plaintiffs to litigate their employers for overtime compensation. Several months ago MER shelled out $37M to its brokers in CA for the very same issue.

Have any brokers who read this thread gotten flyers in the mail such as this?

FD: I am not soliciting broker-plaintiffs for any lawfirm.

What sort of flyer did you get?

Our California law firm is one of the firms handling some of these cases.  I am happy to talk to anyone interested in learning more about these cases or discussing their company's practices.  We're located on the web at www.scalaw.com or at (510) 891-9800

Call him at your own risk--you'll be fired and lose a hell of a lot more than he can get for you.

These whores have to be stopped--and the way to stop them is to ignore their ridiculous promises.

He can't bring himself to be a pro--but you can.  Ignore him--make him go get an honest job.

Consider this.  If he were in your shoes would he work as hard as you are, or would he be sitting around whining about how unfair he was being treated.

What does whining get for you in the long run?

Probably the same scum sending "sue your broker" letters to the broker's clients.

No it's just easier to sit on his fat arse posting on an internet bulletin board than to run down the street sweating trying to stuff his business card in the hands of the guy on the stretcher....then rushing off to the hospital to "follow up" with his potential client.

Good thing this board is anonymous or this leech would probably sue all of us for being meanies.
