Women do, in fact, want their mates to make money. They rated job security, low debt level, good credit history and adequate savings as more important than attractiveness to the success of their relationships, according to a survey by Money Management International. Money also boosts couples' happiness; 89 percent of married couples making $50,000 or more said they were happily married, versus 79 percent of those making less.
