Small Cap ETF Performance in the Wake of Trump's Victory

Small-cap stocks are a sector that has rallied in the weeks since the presidential election. Here is how the top 20 largest small-cap ETFs have performed in the past month.

Donald Trump’s victory just more than two weeks ago sent ripples through financial markets. Some sectors saw an immediate bump, evident in some ETF categories, including ETFs focused on financial stocks, crypto and small-cap industrials.

Recently, that post-election bump has begun to moderate a bit but has not fully reversed.

The following gallery is a deeper dive into how one sector in particular has fared in the wake of elections: small-cap ETFs. It looks at the 20 largest small-cap ETFs by total AUM and includes their overall performance in the past 30 days.

Data is courtesy of CFRA, an independent investment research firm that tracks ETFs as part of its coverage. Returns are as of 11/19/2024.
