Max M. Schanzenbach

Max M. Schanzenbach is the Seigle Family Professor of Law at Northwestern University ([email protected]), where he teaches Estates and Trusts and co-authored with Sitkoff a series scholarly studies of fiduciary investment law and economics. He received a J.D. and a Ph.D. (economics) from Yale University. Schanzenbach has served as Director of the Searle Center on Law, Regulation, and Economic Growth at Northwestern University and as co-editor-in-chief of the American Law and Economics Review, the journal of the American Law and Economics Association. The author of over thirty articles and book chapters, Schanzenbach’s work has appeared in leading law reviews such as the Yale Law Journal, Stanford Law Review, and University of Chicago Law Review, as well as economics journals such as American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, American Law and Economics Review, Journal of Legal Studies, Journal of Law and Economics, and Journal of Law, Economics, & Organization.
