Skip is a licensed member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and is active with the Georgia State University Graduate Leadership Council.
Skip attended Washington and Lee University, where he graduated cum laude, before graduating summa cum laude with his J.D. from the Georgia State University School of Law. While in law school, Skip served as Lead Articles Editor for the Georgia State University Law Review, from which he received numerous awards and in which he was published. Upon graduation, Skip served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jack T. Camp of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Honorable Frank M. Hull of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Skip has also been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer for the past several years.
Skip lives in Atlanta with his wife and two sons. In his free time, he enjoys tennis and running and each Fourth of July can be found participating in Atlanta’s annual Peachtree Road Race 10K.
