Jonathan G. Blattmachr, a partner in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, is a prolific speaker and author with whom I first became acquainted in a case we both worked on, then again when we both served as faculty for the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning. The title of his article in the Cardozo journal, “Reducing Estate and Trust Litigation Through Disclosure, In Terrorem Clauses, Mediation and Arbitration” is an apt description of its contents.
