LaSalle Opens Up Real Estate Strategies via Artivest

Institutional asset manager LaSalle Investment Management is launching a closed-end fund on Artivest’s alternatives platform.

Real estate investment manager LaSalle Investment Management is expanding into the retail investor market, with the launch of a closed-end vehicle on Artivest’s digital platform, giving advisors and high-net-worth investors access to its real estate investment strategy.

Artivest is one fintech company aimed at bringing illiquid alternative investments downstream to retail investors.

Peter Thiel, founder of PayPal and Palantir, is an early investor in the company. Its platform includes private equity, private credit, hedge funds, managed futures and real assets.

LaSalle manages $64 billion in assets in private and public real estate property and debt investments, primarily for pension funds, endowments and other institutional investors.
