Taking the 66, studied using TC
I am studying for the 66 using the material from training consultants. I have been getting 80 on the 5 practice exams. Will that be good to pass that test or should I be getting in the 90's to pass? Thanks for the help.
Albert, is it true that the book is only 124 pages? I saw that on their website. Kaplan's book is about 600 pages. It seems like alot of people here think that Training Consultants is great for the series 66.
TC is the best, bar none. It is only 124 pages. Its exactly what you need.
Albert, to answer your question, I was getting in the mid 80s on the tests (averaged 84-85) and got an 88 on the real deal.
I felt so prepared that I completed the test in around 50 minutes with a 5-7 minute stretch break.
Would you suggest TC for the 65. ? let me know. I welcome the reply and the help. Thanks
I will also put my 2 cents. TC for the 66 is AMAZING. Do not waste your time studying anything else. I also completed the test within 50 minutes and got an 88. Take the 5 practice exams 2 times each, and maybe review what you are still getting wrong, and you'll be GOLDEN.
Do the practice exams come with the TC book? or would someone have to purchase them separately?
The practice exams do not come with the book. they have some questions I believe at the end of each chapter, but those aren't what you are looking for. I purchased the book, along with the online lectures (this also came with quizes at the end of each section, and 5-6 tests at the very end). I went through the lectures for the areas I felt I struggled, but I cracked down on taking each exam at twice. There were questions WORD FOR WORD on the actual exam. I wasn't nervous AT ALL when I clicked the "doom day or happy dance" button! I was kind of shocked I didn't see a 96%. I got an 88.
thanks for the great responses to the various questions. I appreciate the help.
