Hello....I am a Piker. I cold call for appointments, not products. I see clients and prospects at their homes. I have never used my series 7 license. I am a Piker. Please help me.
Well, that is pretty easy to fix actually. Just do the opposite of what you're doing.
Call for product, have clients meet you at the office, and use the 7 instead of schlepping annuities.
Problem solved, Piker no more.

Ha ha! Decades ago, while working a corporate job, a friend of a friend was departing inj the eveneing to go out in his little Honda to visit people's houses and sign up teachers for investments. It was like this guy had a little ten horsepower boat and was going out trolling to catch his dinner. That was my first exposure to freedom and autonomy of this profession. I'll bet those TSAs are complementing the PERS pensions nicely now.
