Have you dreamed of attending a Super Bowl game, but the staggering prices held you back? This may be the year to go. Cold temperatures and an abundance of travel and hotel options are working to drive down prices.

For frugal fans looking to get up off the couch this weekend and attend the game in-person, the trip can cost about $2,000 on the low end for everything from food, a hotel room for the weekend, game tickets and transportation. For those traveling in from out-of-town, flight costs ranged from $751-$1135 on Friday morning from other major U.S. cities into the New York area.

Here, a breakdown of the costs to attend Super Bowl 2014.
