New Boot Camp Helps Advisors to Small Businesses

The Business Enterprise Institute is launching a virtual training program in May to help advisors help clients exit ownership of their small businesses.

The training will feature the benefits of BEI’s traditional Boot Camp, as well as live question and answer sessions and interactive sessions with other trainees.

BEI is a business management consultant that trains business advisors to help create and execute strategies for owners to sell or transfer ownership of their small businesses.

Advisors will learn how to effectively market their exiting planning qualifications, engage business owners and create comprehensive plans, as well as lead or participate in business consulting teams.

“At a time when uncertainty abounds, the need for qualified advisors supporting their business owner clients is at a historic high," said Jared Johnson, BEI CEO.

BEI says that 81% of owners surveyed in 2019 said they want to stop working within 10 years, and 80% of owners say they have not created written plans to transfer ownership.
