Valhalla, N.Y. – Starting tomorrow, locally based Cappelli Enterprises will begin the demolition of the former Macy’s store in downtown White Plains, N.Y. The demolition marks the first phase of work on what will be one of the largest real estate projects ever in Westchester County, Cappelli’s new $300 million City Center at White Plains retail-residential project.

This major revitalization project is the first to begin in downtown White Plains in more than 25 years. From 1947 to 1997, the Macy’s store was one of the best-known retail stores in the region.
