UBS Private Wealth Management has added a Paramus, N.J.-based team, Foley, DeLuise & Associates, with $2 billion in client assets. The team joins from Merrill Lynch, where some members had been for more than 20 years.

The team is led by advisors Matthew Foley, Lawrence DeLuise and Christopher Butler. Foley and DeLuise had been at Merrill for more than 25 years. They’re joined by Jason Lipp, Deanna Wilson, Lori Macaluso, Greg Romano, Linsey Serafino and Emily Buske.

The addition builds on UBS’s presence in the ultra-high-net-worth market.

The team will join the UBS Manhattan Market, managed by Market Executive Christopher DiMuria, and the Paramus office, managed by Market Director Adam Kamm.

UBS has been on the hunt for advisors catering to wealthy clients over the last several months.
