Morgan Stanley shareholders who are still reeling from the $52 million exit package given to former president and CEO Philip Purcell will be happy (OK, less angry?) to know he's giving a lot of it away. Purcell's most recent gift, $12.5 million to the University of Notre Dame, his alma mater, will go towards renovation — and a renaming — of the Joyce Center. The school's basketball and volleyball arena will henceforth be known as The Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.
