Advisors Todd Stabler and Dave Mantell, who manage about $300 million in client assets in Bellevue, Wash., have moved their book of business to LPL Financial. They were previously affiliated with KMS Financial Services, a broker/dealer that was recently rolled into Securities America in the wake of Advisor Group’s acquisition of Ladenburg Thalmann.

Stabler was with KMS for 31 years. In 2017, Mantell joined his team from BlackRock, where he was a vice president of a portfolio management team. The firm specializes in personalized financial planning, including tax and estate planning.

LPL’s tech platform and its corporate stability were among the main reasons the team made the switch.

“We appreciate that everything in ClientWorks is integrated and simplified," Mantell said in a statement. "Our clients can log on to view their accounts or tax returns and even upload a document, all in one place. In the past, our team spent so much time and energy looking for one-off technology offerings to bundle together. But LPL’s turnkey offering and integration really boosts our technology experience and helps us manage our business as we see fit."
