Former Credit Suisse investment banker Frank Quattrone is free to move about the securities industry. After a mistrial, a conviction and an appeal that overturned it, Quattrone has won again. Per the agreement, the feds will drop the obstruction-of-justice charge if he doesn't break the law for one year. He's reportedly been calling old colleagues to say he's back. A star of the tech-boom, Quattrone — who made $120 million in 2000 — was the head of a Palo Alto, Calif.-based group that took Amazon.com, Cisco Systems and Adobe Systems public.
