Financial planning developer RightCapital graduated from LPL Financial’s Vendor Affinity List onto its integration list, according to an announcement from the software provider. As part of the new integration, RightCapital is now available through LPL’s ClientWorks platform.

"Our software's integration within the ClientWorks platform enables us to offer a complete financial planning solution that saves time, increases efficiencies and highlights planning opportunities for advisors and their clients,” said Shuang Chen, co-founder and CEO of RightCapital, in a statement.

LPL repeated its thesis of financial planning “continu[ing] to grow within the wealth management space,” according to a statement from Burt White, LPL managing director and CIO. The independent broker/dealer made financial planning software provider MoneyGuide available in ClientWorks earlier this year, after launching its own goals-based financial planning tool, Client Goals, last year.

Chen wrote in an email that RightCapital had grown by 25 full-time employees over the period April to December.

"Advisors, and more importantly their clients, are really responding to a planning solution like ours that is easy to use and optimized for digital planning via virtual meetings and using screensharing," he wrote. He said that advisors report using the application effectively on all the major videoconferencing platforms, including Zoom, GoToMeeting, Webex, and Microsoft Teams.
