Portfolio management provider Orion Advisor Services announced progress in integrations with three third-party technology providers Thursday. The first two include improvements to already-built initial integrations between custodial partner Schwab Advisor Services and CRM provider Redtail Technology.

First announced at Orion’s Ascent conference in Sept. 2018, the account opening integration with Schwab now features a new digital account open workflow developed by Schwab Advisor Services. With it, advisors can push data from Orion’s New Account Center to populate the account open request using the completely digital workflow Schwab has created.

The Redtail integration with Orion is now a fully bi-directional one. If a contact record is updated in either Redtail or Orion, the change automatically pushes to the other system (the previous flow was one-way from Orion to Redtail). This integration is currently in a closed beta but is expected to roll out in late July.

Genivity’s Health Analysis and Longevity Optimizer (HALO) integration lets advisors have planning conversations related to the costs associated with health and elder care. This integration, now available, consists of a single sign-on from Orion into Genivity.  Clients can complete the Genivity interactive assessment within the Orion Client Portal after which the detailed planning analysis is sent directly to the advisor.
