The StrongBox Wealth Team

An advisor team based in Lee’s Summit, Mo., jumped ship from Wells Fargo Advisors, where they managed $300 million in client assets, to form a new registered investment advisor, StrongBox Wealth. The firm has joined Dynasty Financial Partners’ network and will use its core services platform.

Advisor Chuck Cooper, previous managing director of investments for Cooper Wealth Management Group and branch manager for Wells Fargo Advisors, is managing partner of StrongBox. Jon Garlow, former vice president and investment officer with Cooper Wealth Management Group, is a founding partner of StrongBox. Kathy Postoak will serve as director of operations.

Cooper says the team has big growth plans.

“We plan to expand the firm through highly selective partner advisor additions, as well as establish an affiliated network model for breakaway advisors desiring to join an established RIA,” he said. “We believe that many advisors seek an authentic client first model combined with true independence,” said Cooper.  “Ultimately, StrongBox Wealth expects to integrate tax, legal, risk management and professional services to create an ensemble of client resources.”
