Girard, the wealth management division of Univest Financial Corporation, with $3.6 billion in client assets, has named David Geibel as its new president, replacing Kevin Norris, who recently retired.

Geibel started at Girard in 2005 as a wealth advisor. Prior to that, he managed client relationships for The Sycamore Group and built institutional investment strategies at BlackRock.

Girard, which has offices in Pennsylvania, Florida and Virginia, was founded by Norris in 1995, and the RIA was acquired by Univest, a bank in the Pennsylvania region, in 2013. In early 2019, Univest rebranded its full-service wealth division under the Girard brand.
