Women are still a minority in financial services, despite the industry's efforts to address the gender imbalance. Female advisors make up only 8 percent of the advisory workforce, according to Cerulli Associates. The RIA channel seems to be a bit more welcoming: 12 percent of advisors there are women. The women on REP.’s Top 50 Women RIAs list are more than just advisors, of course. They are entrepreneurs, owning at least 25 percent of some of the largest RIAs around. Here’s a closer look at the top 10.
