Oct 4 (Reuters) - Former Morgan Stanley Wealth and AssetManagement president Gregory Fleming plans to formRockefeller Capital Management, an independent financialservices firm, in collaboration with Rockefeller FinancialServices Inc.

The firm, which will focus on wealth management, assetmanagement and strategic advisory, will be owned by Vikinginvestment fund, a trust representing the broader Rockefellerfamily, and the firm’s management.

Fleming will become the Chief Executive Officer ofRockefeller upon closing and the board of the new firm willinclude Fleming, David Rockefeller Jr, Peter O’Neill, ReubenJeffery III, and Brian Kaufmann of Viking.

Under Fleming’s leadership, the firm also plans to expandits asset management focus on global equities.

The financial terms of the deal, which is expected to closenext year, were not disclosed.
