Raymond James added a new advisor team in Dallas. The independent broker/dealer announced Wednesday the addition of Messick Peacock & Associates, a $640 million team that joins from Northwestern Mutual Investment Services.

Advisors Chris Messick, David Peacock, Alex Taylor and Matt Sibley join the Dallas branch and report to Kirk Bell, the central regional director for Raymond James Financial Services. Messick Peacock & Associates Chief Operating Officer Lynda Roman also joins along with Whitney Goellner, marketing manager; Marsha Hale, the executive assistant; Caleb Lam, the senior client services manager; and Marlon Medrano, the client services manager.

Messick, who spent 27 years at Northwestern Mutual, said in a statement that Raymond James helps the team keep up with industry tech changes by providing resources, innovative technology and support.

“Raymond James’ financial planning technology improves our ability to more confidently advise clients,” said Peacock, who spent 22 years with Northwestern Mutual.

Raymond James is based in St. Petersburg, Fla., and manages approximately $895 billion and 8,100 financial advisors.
