Peak Advisor Alliance, an FA coaching and resources program led by RIA advisor Ron Carson, has hired two new executive business coaches, Vickie Seitner and Scott Wood. Seitner founded her own coaching company prior to coming to Peak, while Wood was helping Mutual of Omaha's reps and FAs build their businesses. At Peak, the two will provide advice to members on day-to-day practice management issues.

Stephan Keller, former chief operating officer of UBS's financial institutions group in London, has joined Cole Real Estate Investments. In his new role as executive vice president and chief financial officer, Keller will lead the company's finance and accounting teams.

UBS Wealth Management picked up a $1.7 billion-AUM firm from Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. The Desai Group, led by Managing Director Ajay Desai, joined UBS's Chicago office. John Staab and Frank Pellicori, both senior vice presidents, also moved over with Desai.

Reynold Samoranos has been named chief compliance officer of Valentine Capital Asset Management, a fee-only independent RIA with $600 million under management. Previously, Samoranos was serving as both chief financial officer and chief compliance officer with Hammerman Capital Management, a hedge fund manager.
