Cetera is adding Falkner Financial Advisors, a multigenerational family-run firm in Trussville, Ala., to its affiliate group. The business was founded in 1976 and has approximately $100 million in AUM, according to an announcement.

The firm’s founder, Butch Falkner, leads the company, alongside his sons, Beau and Brice. The trio is transitioning with Joy Snuggs, executive assistant, and Leah Coffelt, administrative assistant. Cetera’s boutique service model and enterprise-scale resources were major factors in the move, according to the announcement.

"The multi-generational approach to serving clients' financial needs through all stages of life that Butch and his team have is a great complement to Cetera's advice-centric mission,” said John Pierce, head of business development for Cetera, in a statement.
