Jon Frojen, the former chief financial officer at United Capital who played a big role in the RIA’s sale to Goldman Sachs, has joined Advisor Group in the same role. He replaces Greg Stockett, who left the firm last October and had served as CFO at Advisor Group since early 2017.

Frojen joins at a time when Advisor Group continues to integrate recently acquired Ladenburg Thalmann, another independent broker/dealer network. The firm recently announced it would fold three of Ladenburg’s broker/dealers, Investacorp, Securities Service Network and KMS Financial Services, into Securities America.

Frojen will lead the firm’s financial department, which includes accounting, treasury, tax, procurement, commissions and financial planning and analysis departments. He’ll also be responsible for the firm’s long-term financial planning and capital allocation. He reports to CEO and President Jamie Price.

Prior to joining United Capital, Frojen served as CFO at Cetera Financial.
