Scott Welch is leaving Dynasty Financial Partners, where he served as chief investment officer for the past four years.
Welch will join WisdomTree Investments as chief investment officer for the firm's model portfolios, the New York-based ETF and exchange traded product sponsor and asset manager said Monday.
In the newly created role, Welch will be in charge of the company’s asset allocation team and investment committee, taking over responsibility for the performance and process of WisdomTree’s ETF model portfolios, the production of investment research and content, management of model portfolio asset allocation and portfolio construction decisions, and management of the company’s investment solutions for current and future advisors.
Before Dynasty, he held a number of senior investment-related positions at a multi-billion-dollar registered investment advisor and co-founded Fortigent, a provider of outsourced research, technology and practice management solutions to RIAs and banks.
