As the U.S. stock market is starting to look overvalued, advisors are seeking equity exposure abroad. Specifically, stocks in the emerging markets look more reasonably priced, said Richard J. Martin of Steinhaus Financial Group. iShares’ ETFs offer good exposure, he added.
“Half the PE (price to earnings ratio) of the U.S. market and triple the growth rate,” said Jim Goodland, president of Securus Wealth Management in Plymouth, Minn., of the emerging markets.
