CYA invests in fixed income and income generating ETFs. The Fund will invest between 50-90% of the Fund’s assets in income generating ETFs including affiliated funds managed by the adviser. The Fund considers an ETF an income generating ETF if the ETF demonstrates an attractive distribution or income yield (i.e., a yield that is greater than 2 year Treasury notes), for example ETFs that invest in REITs or MLPs or ETFs that seek to provide the inverse of the S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures Index.
KSET tracks the S&P GSCI Global Voluntary Carbon Liquidity Weighted Index, which provides broad coverage of the voluntary carbon market by tracking carbon offset futures contracts. These futures contracts include Nature-Based Global Emission Offsets (N-GEOs) and Global Emission Offsets (GEOs), which trade through the CME Group, the world’s largest financial derivatives exchange. KSET is designed to dynamically add additional offset markets as they reach scale.

As a result, the S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures Index and VIXY can be expected to perform differently than the VIX.

The Underlying Index is designed to provide exposure to companies that are positioned to benefit from further advances in the field of hydrogen technology. Hydrogen technology includes products and services focused on the development and implementation of hydrogen gas as a renewable fuel source.
POTX seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Cannabis Index. The Global X Cannabis ETF (POTX) seeks to invest in companies across the cannabis industry. This includes companies involved in the legal production, growth and distribution of cannabis and industrial hemp, as well as those involved in providing financial services to the cannabis industry, pharmaceutical applications of cannabis, cannabidiol (i.e., CBD), or other related uses including but not limited to extracts, derivatives or synthetic versions.

The investment objective of UNG is for the changes in percentage terms of the units net asset value to reflect the changes in percentage terms of the price of natural gas delivered at the Henry Hub Louisiana as measured by the changes in the price of the futures contract on natural gas traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange that is the near month contract to expire except when the near month contract is within two weeks of expiration in which case it will be measured by the futures contract that is the next month contract to expire less UNG’s expenses.
HDRO uses a “passive management” (or indexing) approach to track the total return performance, before fees and expenses, of BlueStar Hydrogen & NextGen Fuel Cell Index. The Index is a rules-based index that tracks the performance of a group of globally listed equity securities of companies involved in the development of hydrogen-based energy sources and fuel cell technologies.
REMX seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Market Rare Earth/Strategic Metals Index, a rules based modified capitalization weighted float adjusted index intended to give investors a means of tracking the overall performance of publicly traded companies primarily engaged in a variety of activities that are related to the mining refining and manufacturing of rare earth/strategic metals.

The Index incorporates all eligible securities as per MSCI’s Global Investable Market Index Methodology, including China A, B and H shares, Red chips, P chips and foreign listings (e.g., American Depository Receipts). Additionally, the Index utilizes a 10/50 concentration constraint whereby the weight of each group entity in the Index is capped at 10% and the cumulative weight of all group entities with a weight in excess of 5% does not exceed 50% of the Index by weight.
TAN is based on the MAC Global Solar Energy Index (Index). The Fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in stock, American depositary receipts (ADRs) and global depositary receipts (GDRs) that comprise the Index. The Index is comprised of companies in the solar energy industry. The index is computed using the net return, which withholds applicable taxes for non-resident investors. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced quarterly.
PBW is based on the WilderHill Clean Energy Index (Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index is composed of stocks of companies that are publicly traded in the United States and engaged in the business of advancement of cleaner energy and conservation. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly.
CTEC seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Indxx Global CleanTech Index. The Global X CleanTech ETF (CTEC) seeks to invest in companies that stand to benefit from the increased adoption of technologies that inhibit or reduce negative environmental impacts. This includes companies involved in renewable energy production, energy storage, smart grid implementation, residential/commercial energy efficiency, and/or the production and provision of pollution-reducing products and solutions.
ACES seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the performance of its underlying index, the CIBC Atlas Clean Energy Index (ticker symbol NACEX) (the “Underlying Index”). The Underlying Index utilizes a rules-based methodology developed by CIBC National Trust Company (the “Index Provider”), which is designed to provide exposure to a diverse set of U.S. and Canadian companies involved in the clean energy sector including renewables and clean technology.
ZSB seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in metals derivative instruments (“Metals Derivatives”) and, to a lesser extent in the equity securities of companies (“Metals Equities” and, together with Metals Derivatives, “Metals Investments”) that are economically tied to the metals that are necessary for “Electrification.” The Adviser believes that demand for certain metals will increase as the global economy undergoes a process known as Electrification. During Electrification, energy derived from sustainable sources such as wind, solar, and hydroelectric power will gradually replace energy generated by fossil fuels. The infrastructure needed to produce and store that energy as electricity in batteries (“Battery and Electrification Infrastructure”) will require substantial amounts of certain metals. As a result, Electrification may lead to rising prices for these metals over time. The Adviser uses a proprietary multi-factor quantitative methodology to select the Metals Investments. The Fund’s Metals Investments will initially include metals such as cobalt, copper, iron ore, lithium, nickel, and other metals currently used in Battery and Electrification Infrastructure.
