Marketing technology firm Snappy Kraken has developed a new tool to help advisors create biweekly video communications. The Personal Connection Video tool, free to Snappy Kraken users, is meant to be a turnkey system for doing video marketing and includes a script, a branded landing page to host the video, and coordinated emails to promote the videos to clients and prospects.

“Until now, advisors had only had a couple of choices for using video,” said Snappy Kraken CEO Robert Sofia. “Either they had to figure out on their own what to say, where to host it and how to distribute it—which is a lot of work. Or they were left to use some canned videos that somebody else produced for them, maybe ones that are being sold to every other advisor. With our new tool, advisors have the opportunity to create their own impression, in their own personal style, in a simple, easy-to-use approach.”

The next iteration of the tool, due out in May, will include free social media posts.

Sofia created his own seven-minute video to provide tips to advisors on producing better videos and show them how to use the tool.

Snappy Kraken is powering HighTower's new marketing platform, which provides the firm's advisors with curated digital marketing materials such as blog posts, email newsletters, guidebooks, infographics, videos and social posts. Advisors can choose content that fits their clientele or a segment of it based on generation, income, profession and stage of life.
