Cooking for a Cause with Iron Chef Marc Forgione
Dynasty partnered with Iron Chef Marc Forgione for a virtual dining experience that included Marc’s family meatballs and polenta recipe. Attendees cooked along with Marc and sent in creative pictures for the opportunity to win prizes. If attendees had a cooking question, they could pop on screen and ask the Michelin Star winning chef a question face to face to help hone their culinary skills. The event raised thousands of dollars for both Marc’s employee fund and The Kind Mouse St. Petersburg. Throughout the Network, we had 1,500 guests in attendance.
StrongBox Wealth Presents Cooking for a Cause Kansas City
Following the success of the first Cooking for a Cause event, RIA StrongBox Wealth leveraged the experience and team at Dynasty to create a similar event on a local scale. They partnered with a local restaurant group and local celebrities for an interactive evening of their own. The firm had approximately 210 guests in attendance.
Between the Ropes: A Virtual Golf Experience with PGA Pros
With many clamoring to get back out onto golf courses, Dynasty and Black Diamond teamed up to create a virtual golf experience with two PGA Professionals. This event was hosted by Dynasty’s COO Ed Swenson, Vice President of Marketing Nick Stile and Bjorn Widerstedt, vice president of product strategy and design. They were joined by Max Homa and Gary Koch, who discussed inside secrets of the tour and what it is like between the ropes, shared swing breakdowns, and offered tips on how to improve one’s game. They also answered questions live. Attendees were able to send in videos of their swing for a chance to win a swing breakdown from Homa. The event had an attendance of 300, with another 50 people watching on-demand afterwards.
Regent Peak Wealth Advisors: One Year Anniversary Toast
With RIA Regent Peak’s clients and employees spread out all over the country, it was not possible for them to get together to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the firm’s launch. Instead, they put together a touching video thanking everyone for their support. They played it ahead of a virtual toast where attendees got together to chat, have a cocktail, and catch up quickly. This was open only to Regent Peak’s clients, where they had over 80% in attendance.
Rose Capital Presents a Virtual Beer Tasting
Another RIA in Dynasty’s network, Rose Capital Advisors, partnered with a neighboring Florida business, Cigar City Brewing, to put together a virtual beer tasting experience. Michael Rose hosted with the two founders of Cigar City Brewery, and guests sampled some of the brewery’s popular beers while learning the origins of how they were made and what to look for in the taste.
Dynasty Women’s Network – Let’s Talk Virtual Event Series
In February, over 70 women from the Dynasty Women’s Network met over two days in Florida for an open, honest, and raw conversation on a variety of topics. They have since started hosting a “Let’s Talk” Webinar series on topics ranging from “Tips, Tricks & Real World Experiences on how to Live our Best Quarantine Life” to “Effective Strategies to Better Communicate and Relieve Stress.” The group has had a nice mix between bringing in outside speakers, such as Beverly Flaxington, CEO of the Collaborative, and opening up conversations for internal discussions. Attendance on the calls has ranged between 30 and 70 women per call.
Aaron Wealth’s Do-It-Yourself Barbeque
With clients stuck at home looking for creative ways to stay entertained, Aaron Wealth Advisors sent out Kansas City-style BBQ kits to clients. The kit had everything needed to put together a full dinner for the family.
Dynasty’s Virtual Planning Week
Throughout the first week in June, Dynasty partnered with multiple resource partners, including MoneyGuide Pro, Riskalyze and National Advisors Trust Company, to put out a series of calls and educational content all centered around planning. Each call offered a unique opportunity not only to learn about new tools and strategies available to advisors but discuss in better detail how advisors are deploying these solutions to their clients. Part discussion and part presentation, the calls were designed to be engaging and educational.
Compliance and a Cocktail
Dynasty Financial Partners Chief Compliance Officer Alex Hansen and Vice President of Network Compliance Amara Duderstadt have started hosting a series of compliance conversations with Dynasty network compliance peers focused on fun and informative discussions covering all things compliance. Topics they are discussing include compliance obstacles faced in light of these current times and implemented solutions, SEC focus on the success of remote programs, and business continuity planning and succession planning.
