Master limited partnerships are once again a decent place to look for yield, says the director of research for Alerian.

'There is no free lunch. If something has value, it shouldn’t be free,' Sue Thompson, head of SPDR Americas distribution for State Street Global Advisors, said at the Inside ETFs conference.
