Scariest day(s) as an advisor is whenever there is a "technical glitch" with the markets like we experienced on May 6, 2010, and more recently, Aug. 24, 2015. You have absolutely no idea what the root cause of the "flash crash" is, which becomes very daunting when attempting to calm nervous clients. Responses like "a minor software issue" don't allay those fears.
