Peter Lee, founding partner
When Summit Trail, an RIA with $7 billion in client assets, launched in 2015, it set out to create a welcoming space for its clients that conveyed a comfortable, yet fresh and inspiring atmosphere.
The Summit Trail client suite is the signature feature in its Chicago office. The client suite includes a 6-foot-by-9-foot table that was custom-made by Icon Modern from reclaimed trees that have fallen throughout Chicago parks. The second featured piece in the client suite is a “Fly Boy” statue created by Hebru Brantley, a famous Chicago artist. This Fly Boy statue was originally created for basketball great Michael Jordan.

Brandywine Oak is an RIA located in the heart of Kennett Square, an extremely well-known part of Chester County, Pa. The office is less than a mile from the historic Longwood Gardens, an American botanical garden located in the Brandywine Creek Valley.
The firm’s clients like the charm of the building itself and convenient access. The office was built, customized and designed from the ground up to ensure that it provided the best infrastructure possible, especially during an intense transition. Clients appreciate that the office captures the local culture, including paintings of the area, some of which have been painted by clients themselves.
Matt Celenza, managing partner
From scenic views spanning the city of Los Angeles to the “Mad Men”-inspired aesthetic, the unique space that is home to Boulevard Family Wealth and Boulevard Insurance Strategies embodies a professional and creative ambiance that dually represents their style of business. Matt Celenza, founder, managing partner and New York native, was keen on re-creating a modern twist to the iconic 1960s midcentury era with a diverse palette of cool grays, brass accents and mahogany brown furniture. Matt’s vision came to life as the multi-office suite encompasses a vintage yet contemporary sophistication that coincides with Boulevard’s vast experience and sleek appeal in the financial services/insurance industry.
The upscale workspace is located in the heart of Beverly Hills, a central location chosen to cater to Boulevard’s ultra-high-net-worth clientele. Clients occasionally utilize the conference room for their own personal use to hold meetings, or comfortably sit and enjoy the Wall Street Journal and a steamed latte. The popular kitchenette area serves as a creative space for impromptu team meetings and even includes a built-in miniature wine cellar.
Miguel Sosa, founding partner
Premia Global Advisors’ office in Coral Gables was designed to appeal to both a younger client as well as a person that wants to work with an advisor in an environment that feels fresh and in tune with their emotions. This led Miguel Sosa, the founding partner of the firm, to work with a local art dealer to curate the art in the office. The idea was to have a bright and colorful office. It features works of art from Cuban masters, Andy Warhol and a street artist who worked on a column in the middle of the office. The atmosphere represents Premia well and communicates a feeling that this is not a stodgy, old-school financial firm but one that is modern and vibrant.
Blake Pratz, founding partner
When Icon’s advisors were working in the wirehouse, they pictured going independent to mean working out of a garage or a shabby office in a subpar neighborhood. But they found a grade A office space for their RIA, Icon Wealth Partners, centrally located for clients and prospects in Houston.
They maintained design control over the space, with the goal of fitting what clients’ expectations were and representing what independence meant to the team.
Jim Maher, founder and CEO
Archford Capital Strategies CEO and Founder Jim Maher opted to purchase a building and completely customize the space. The Swansea, Ill.-based offices include a first floor reception area, conference rooms and meeting space to accommodate clients. The lower level houses workspace for all Archford employees with a full kitchen, break room, standing desks and collaborative areas such as the Archford Innovation Lab.
Phil Fiore, CEO
Having been in the wirehouse world for most of their careers, the Procyon founders knew they wanted something high-end but not like the traditional office spaces you would see in traditional brokerage firms. Rather, they wanted a space with an open-air feeling yet private enough for associates to have a phone call and get their work done uninterrupted. The office has glass everywhere, which speaks to the open-air feel. The team paid special attention to not be frivolous in their spending on the office but also show clients that they are proud of the brand.
