With the popular show "Billions" returning Sunday and advisors countrywide finding themselves with sprawling stretches of unrestricted free time, we figured it was high time for an advisor TV roundup.

Over the past few years, several hit shows have featured financial advisors, high-net-worth families and/or estate planning as their core conflicts. These shows, which vary wildly in subject matter, nonetheless offer advisors the wonderful opportunity to have their cake and eat it too by gleaning important lessons about their clients while consuming entertaining media or, at least, offer some plausible deniability for killing time while waiting for the world to go back to normal.
