Im curious what some of you guys who have left firms do in the weeks prior to leaving…lots of client contact, hints that you are leaving??

I left late March 2009 and spent the final 10-12 days calling every A & B client trying to use cash to buy stocks and equity etfs.  I did not tell any clients or intentionally drop hints about leaving, but many said they knew something was up.
