Morningstar, Hyde Park Angels, I2a and REV Venture Partners have all sold their ownership stakes in YCharts to private equity firm LLR Partners, which now has sole ownership of the investment analytics firm. The “recapitalization” is intended to support growth, with a focus on product, sales and marketing, as well as opening up the possibility of acquisitions, according to an announcement

Terms were not disclosed.

“LLR Partners brings to YCharts deep experience within wealth management technology, a collaborative approach, and a strategic vision that aligns with our long-term objectives,” said Sean Brown, president and CEO of YCharts, in a statement. Past and current fintech investments at LLR include Cedar Capital, Rapid Ratings and Sterling Trading Tech.

Leadership at YCharts will remain the same following the acquisition.

“YCharts will continue operating ‘business as usual,’” said Will Ruben, spokesperson for the firm. “This transaction provides significant benefits to our three key constituents: customers, employees and investors.”
