Pete Hess, the former CEO of Advent Software and former chief revenue officer at InvestCloud, has joined Canadian-based PureFacts, a provider of revenue management to wealth management firms, as president.

Hess was most recently CRO for the Americas at InvestCloud; before that, he spent 23 years at Advent (which was acquired by SS&C Technologies in 2015), including three years each as president and CEO.

In his new role, Hess will report to PureFacts founder and CEO Robert Madej and oversee the company’s day-to-day operations.

PureFacts was founded in 2010. The company recently received a majority investment from private equity firm GrowthCurve, which will be used to develop new products and accelerate the development and deployment of artificial intelligence.

Flourish announced an integration with the widely used Salesforce Financial Services Cloud CRM platform this week.

The integration will enable RIA firms using both Salesforce and Flourish to prefill client information into Flourish. It also extends to three popular advisor-specific CRMs built on top of Salesforce: Practifi, Salentica Elements CRM and XLR8 CRM.

Currently, Flourish said over 850 RIAs are using Flourish Cash, to which advisory firms can add their own branding. For those unfamiliar, Flourish is meant to help clients get more competitive rates on their held-away cash.
