The wrapping of MoneyGuide may have changed a lot over the past year, but the principles behind the financial planning software are still the same, said Kevin Hughes, chief growth officer at Envestnet | MoneyGuide in an exclusive interview with WealthManagement.com

Hughes discussed the implications for product distribution as MoneyGuide more closely integrates with Envestnet Insurance Exchange. He also touched on the role of automation in financial services, with a message of reassurance. Advisors wondering what Envestnet’s purchase of the once-independent provider means for the future of the software should expect business as usual, he concluded.
