Investment research tool YCharts has been added to LPL Financial’s Vendor Affinity Program, according to an announcement. The curated network of third-party vendors is selected “based on advisor demand” and offers services to LPL advisors at discounted prices.

LPL now has 73 vendors in its program, according to company spokesperson Rachel White.

YCharts provides advisors with features like comparison and research tools, as well as fund screeners and investment strategy builders. The tool can be used to build reports and track and monitor strategies, securities, trends and other noteworthy indicators on customizable dashboards.

“We are looking forward to adding YCharts’ investment platform to our Vendor Affinity Program,” said Burt White, LPL Financial managing director and chief investment officer, in a statement. “LPL is committed to offering the tools, resources and technology our advisors need to successfully run their practices and build long-lasting relationships with their clients.”

YCharts currently has “hundreds” of existing LPL clients, according to Sean Brown, president and CEO of YCharts. “Today’s investors want more communication from their financial advisors and they want those engagements to be increasingly personalized,” he said in a statement. “Our mission is to provide financial advisors with mobile-friendly, easy-to-use tools.”
