Advisor websites often contain a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section, a feature that might soon be available for advisors using Instagram as a digital storefront or marketing platform for their businesses. Business owners using the Facebook-owned social media platform and FAQ feature will have the option to add a number of questions at the beginning of a conversation with other users, according to a TechCrunch report

With advisors often field questions about asset minimums or fee structures, the feature could help manage message volume, especially as Instagram becomes increasingly important for advisors. Early users of the feature report that up to four questions can be added to the messaging screen. Earlier this year, Instagram users had the option of upgrading to a new inbox.

For advisors curious what the new feature might look like, Facebook Messenger should be a good indicator, according to the report. Instagram declined to provide more information.
