Broadridge’s Fi360 is launching a new Reg BI training curriculum, according to the firm. The module’s two-part training comes just months before the implementation of the June 30 compliance deadline.

Fi360 collaborated with Fred Reish, a partner at Drinker Biddle who has a background in retirement plan products and plan management, in its development of the educational material. While focusing on the “practical application” of Reg BI, the new module can be customized by home offices to align with firm-specific guidelines, according to the announcement. It includes an overview of Form CRS, which has already confounded firms as they try to pack information into a brief and concise document.

With Reg BI standards as the “new normal,” it’s in advisors’ best interest to undergo Reg BI training sooner rather than later, said Michael Muirhead, SVP of learning and development for Fi360. This particular course takes between two and four hours to complete. Broadridge's Fi360 would not disclose the price of the training.
